Log in, paste a prompt, and Simini generates the simulation model with results. This example builds a hospital Emergency Room in one shot:
HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM, 24 HOURS
Build and simulate a small hospital Emergency Room (ER) for one 24 hour day (1440 minutes). Patient arrivals: patients arrive randomly, on average one every 6 minutes (exponential inter arrival time). Each patient flows through these steps in order: 1. Triage: 2 triage nurses (2 parallel servers). Triage time: normal distribution, mean 5 minutes, standard deviation 1.5 minutes. 2. Treatment: 4 treatment bays, one doctor each (4 parallel servers). Treatment time: normal distribution, mean 25 minutes, standard deviation 8 minutes. 3. Discharge: 1 discharge clerk (1 server). Discharge time: exponential, mean 4 minutes. Patients wait in a first come, first served (FIFO) queue whenever all servers at a step are busy. Run length: 1440 minutes (24 hours), 1 replication. Report: average wait time at each step, total patients treated (throughput), average length of stay, and utilization of the triage nurses, treatment bays, and the discharge clerk.
